Under 15's - Rnd 1: Phillip Island v Kilcunda-Bass (Home)
The U 15s took on Killy-Bass on Saturday for their first hit out of the year under new coach Laurie Angwin The first quarter was played at a hectic pace, with the ball moving quickly from end to end but no goals to show for it.
Quarter time scores were all locked up at 0.2.2 a piece.
Ayden Froud registered the first major for the Island in the second quarter. The Island had a lot of the play but could only manage one goal. Killy-Bass were more efficient in their forward line, and scored two goals from limited opportunities to take a 5 point lead into half time.

The third quarter was more of the same, with the Island controlling the play but unable to convert on the score board. Killy-Bass added two more goals setting up a handy 15 point lead at the last change. PI 1.5.11 to K-B 4.2.26
Justin Cleeland kicked a good goal to start the last term, but Phillip Island was unable to reduce K-B’s lead and they ran out winners by 15 points.

The coach was pleased with the endeavour, but emphasised the need for all players to commit to training on Monday and Thursday nights.
