Our u/18 boys played host to lowly placed Tarwin, and came away with a convincing win. Key players Mitch Price and Dan Kirby were given different roles this week and didn't let their coach down. The two Darcy's; Garton and Johnston were outstanding up forward, marking everything that came their way and converting their opportunities into goals. The on ball brigade of Jarman Dwyer, Tom Cole, Marcus Wright and Matt Justice, gave other forwards Alex Manteit, Ben Hamilton and Jimmy Blackwell plenty of supply, completely outclassing the opposition.

Although the game was very lop sided, the young doggies stuck to their pre match plans, sharing the ball around and bringing it back through the centre corridors. The game was played in good spirits and though the lads from Tarwin failed to score, they never gave up.

Goal kickers, Darcy Johnston (4) , Darcy Garton, Jarman Dwyer(3)  Alex Manteit, Ben Hamilton, Jimmy Blackwell, Tom Cole and Marcus Wright (2each) and single goals to Bryce Pewtress, Matt Justice, Mitch Price and Ben Tester. Better players in a very good team effort, Jarman Dwyer, Darcy Johnston, Darcy Garton, Matt Justice, Mitch Price and Ben Hamilton.

Special mention to Lochie Cleeland for making a very impressive senior debut.

Also to Gerald Taylor and Andy Horvath who helped out with time keeping and goal umpiring at short notice.
