The Island u/18 boys took on the boys from Inverloch this week. Unfortunately the opposition were short of players and to Jimmy Blackwell's credit, he put his hand up and offered his services to them. They really appreciated that and with a few boys from the fourths, we had a game.

Coach Andy Dallinger was having a well deserved break and fill in Coach Zac Vernon took on the challenge. The boys were pumped and came out of the blocks firing. Mitch Price had 2 goals in the first 2 minutes and goals from Garton, Manteit and Guy finished the first quarter off and they were thinking how much are we going to win by. The opposition tightened up and our boys got a bit complacent and the game became a bit of a contest. Although the final score may seem to be a solid win, the game was actually tight and again our boys will take something from it.
