Phillip Island's u/18's travelled to Inverloch for the final home and away game and finished with a solid win. Although the boys from Invy put  up a strong effort they were no match for our guys. The team had a very different look about it as the reserve team required Hamilton, Pewtress and Johnston and the seniors regained Price alongside Cleeland. For the boys in the two's it was a real acknowledgment of their season to be selected in that side as it was a crucial game against the top side and they didn't let anybody down with solid performance in what turned out to be a thrilling win. In the u/18s Dylan Holland dominated up forward, Ben Tester was superb across halfback, well supported by Matty Justice and Cal Proctor. James Blackwell is in fine end of season form with another great display and we hope he can keep it going to the end of season. Tom Cole and Redders were at the foot of the pack all day and feed off the ruck work of Dan Kirby and Gav Powles, and big Mitta was the power forward finishing with 3 goals.

Note; The home and away season has finished and our finals campaign begins but the boys and the team manager would like to acknowledge the people who week in week out help to give them a game of footy. The Coach, you’re a Legend, The Kirby' for jumper cleaning, Dave Hunter for home game time keeper, Wayne Garton: Goal umpire, Ken Jones: anything that's going!! Carol Pewtress and Andrew Smith for water carriers, Pot Dallinger and Katie Colla our trainers and young Brad Redmond our boundary umpire. And to anyone who was asked to help out we thank you. The only way we can show our true appreciation is to play to the best of our ability and hopefully that will be enough to win the major prize.
