Our boys ventured over to arch rival Kilcunda Bass and were greeted with a ground that could only be described as ordinary. But both sides had to play on it and the Island side came out on top at the end of the battle. Tom Cole was outstanding in the middle as was the half backline of Pewtress, Kirby and Garton. Dylan Grayden and Cal Proctor played great defensive games and Matt Jones, Darcy Johnston and Eli Richards made the most of their opportunities when the ball was forced forward. Mitch Guy was tireless in the ruck all game but it was bad luck his beloved Swannies couldn't beat bottom of the ladder Tigers the next day!! May be next time Mitta!!.
