It was a goal fest for Phillip Island on Saturday against bottom of the table DWWW. The Allies offered little resistance all day against a well drilled Phillip Island outfit, despite helping them make up their numbers with six of our good players. From the first bounce Phillip Island dominated with 12 different players kicking at least one goal. Tyron Sandback kicked 8 against them last time, and make an immediate impact on his return from injury, booting 4 goals in the first term.

The second quarter belonged to Brodie Johnston and Alex Officer, who kicked 2 goals each.

Alex Officer continued his good goal kicking form in the third term with 3 more goals while the Island added 8 more to their tally. DWWW finally managed put through a goal.

PhillipIslandfinished strongly with 7 goals in the last quarter to finish with 27 goals for the day. Justin Cleeland had a spell from the ruck and moved to the forward line, kicking 3 goals in the last term.
